This album consists of the best live recordings from the first 6 months of our playing together. 4 tracks are from live shows and the rest are from our rehearsal and practice sessions.
I suppose the process for the creation of this album should be called "capture and compile". I record everything. I always have. I love to capture moments. This album is a collection of our sweetest captured moments compiled by Scott.
With the exception of the last track, Euphonic Ambition, the whole album is recorded with the built in mics of the Olympus LS-10. Typically the recorder is placed at close range between or in front of our amps. The method captures the ambiance of the natural blending of sound in the room and the synergy of us working off of each other. The last track is also recorded live but from the direct out of our amps into a multi-track unit.
We've spent time remastering these from the original recordings, using a 30 band EQ which is really all you need for mastering live recordings. 99.9 % of what you hear on this album is exactly what happened in the room when we played it.
This music is from the heart and we hope you can climb into the heart of each moment with us as you listen.
